HWC on Both Sides of Richardson Grove Issue at County Board of Supervisors Meeting

Heraldo’s coverage of today’s County Board of Supervisor’s meeting features a quote from HWC’s Vice President extordinaire Carlos Quilez. Also featured is former HWC board member Cliff Clendenen:

“Chairman Clif Clendenen said he would cut comments to 1-minute per person and only allow 30-minutes for the entire comment period.  When the crowd reacted negatively he threatened admonish meeting-goers to the lobby.

Fortuna resident Carolos Quilez said the large crowd was the result of successful grassroots organizing and the board’s failure to deal with project opponents.  ”We work hard to elect you, we pay you well” he said.  ”And you threaten to clear the room?”
