HWC to participate in Water District’s Water Resource Planning Advisory Committee

Humboldt Watershed Council's Bill Thorington has been invited to participate in the Water District's Water Resource Planning Advisory Committee as one of two reps from the environmental community. Pete Nichols is the other.
Bill was nominated by HWC, Pete was nominated by the NEC Board. Congrats and thanks to Bill and Pete! I look forward to working with both of them, and the rest of ya'll to determine the best course of action the Water District should take to protect our rights to water in the Mad River and community water use.
